SAN DIEGO, Calif. (CBS 8) – News 8 first introduced our viewers to the Caetano family in July of 2008 when the mother, Alessandra, gave birth to four babies after expecting only three.
Sadly, the proud father, Roberto, recently passed away.
About eight months after the quads were born, News 8 revisited the North County family to see how they were managing with their four babies.
They were doing great.
But shortly after, Roberto had to have his leg amputated due to cancer, which then spread to his lungs and he lost his battle several days ago.
He leaves behind his wife Alessandra, the quadruplets, and an older son.
Roberto's last wish was to be memorialized at sea.
The service is scheduled for Saturday February 26th, for about 50 guests.

News 8's thoughts and prayers are with the Caetano family.
