WORLD RENOWN INSTITUTE SPONSORS A CONFERENCE THAT MAY SAVE YOUR LIFE

Once you have obtained CPR certification, you may wonder why the Guidelines continually change. As a first-line responder, you might even have been frustrated with the mandatory training sessions you had to attend. The Weil Institute of Critical Care Medicine would like you to know that there is a reason behind the constant changes to life-saving policy and medical equipment. As the field of research continues to expand and advance, the Faculty and researchers of this prestigious institution are the physicians and biomedical engineers who conduct hours of painstaking research in their Rancho Mirage, California facility. This life-changing research and the educational materials they produce are distributed worldwide. The Institute is home to life saving medical care and the elite in the field of cardiopulmonary resuscitation. The commitment of the physicians, scientists, and biomedical engineers is not only to simply save more lives; they seek to preserve the quality of the lives that are saved. The Weil Institute enjoys national and international recognition as it strives to achieve medical and technological breakthroughs. It pioneered the first modern intensive care unit in the late 1950's, contributed most significantly to the design and development of automatic external defibrillators (AED's), and more recently, as the Guidelines are being redirected, has developed portable automatic mini-chest compressors. Further, in the burgeoning field of stem cell research with adult animal bone marrows, it is demonstrating that, to treat the heart or the brain, surgery may not be needed and the intravenous injection of stem cells may be as efficient as directly administrating the cells into the heart or brain. The 9th Wolf Creek Conference will be held June 21-24, 2007 at the Renaissance Esmeralda Resort in Indian Wells, California. This will be a cooperative meeting of the most "brilliant minds" in the field of cardiopulmonary resuscitation including a large contingent of international and national experts representing a wide spectrum of medical researchers from all over the globe. The attendance is by invitation only. Leaders of industries which manufacture drugs and devices for life saving medical management are accommodated as observers at this renowned Conference. The Wolf Creek Conference is a remarkable collaborative gathering of world experts on life-saving medicine and especially on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). The conferees present their newest clinical and research findings for debate and critical comments by their peers. This Conference literally writes medical and technological history. Saving lives is exceptional, but to be able to save a life and preserve the quality of that life is nothing short of miraculous. As a non-profit research and educational organization, the Weil Institute applauds the benevolence of those who have generously supported it.
