Pooches catch waves at annual Surf Dog competition

CORONADO (CBS 8) - Dozens of dogs went on a surfing safari Saturday at the sixth annual Loews Coronado Bay Resort Surf Dog competition.

More than 50 surf dogs and hundreds of people showed up for the competition.

Saturday's event was all for a good cause. The goal was to raise $10,000 for the San Diego County chapter of the charity "Donors Choose.org."
