Bill Clinton, Tim Geithner, the 3rd most powerful Democrat in the country and our Senator Boxer, among others, have all said that the president should use the 14th Amendment to unilaterally raise the debt ceiling himself.

They say this with the assumption that you will not take the time to learn about the original intent of the framers of the 14th Amendment. Prove them wrong. We talked about it today at 8:00:

In the end, the 14th Amendment says that the Congress MUST pay the debt (something the left has no interest in ever doing). It says nothing about a debt ceiling, and certainly does not give the president any new powers.

PS, the best part of all of this: The left is calling for an unprecedented (and unconstitutional) amount of power in the Executive branch, and the chairwoman of the DNC says the Republicans are acting like it's a dictatorship.
