The goal of San Diego Success Stories is to tell a story, disprove a myth and show the truth.

We started San Diego Success Stories to counter the claim that we don't make anything in America anymore. So we told the story of great local businesses that manufacture things we don't necessarily think about. And Randy made videos of our factory tours so we could all see the truth.

The last few weeks, I've noticed something interesting. It's become apparent that too many Americans can't even IMAGINE a world where we don't look to the government to solve all of our problems. And if they can't solve it, then it's completely unsolvable, right?

I think education is one of the biggest failures of the federal government. And as the failures become more apparent, we continue to rely even more on the government to solve these problems that they created! This cycle will continue forever because people can't imagine anything different.

So we're doing something different with San Diego Success Stories for a few weeks. We're looking for people who noticed a failure in how we educate our kids and then decided to come up with a new way to do it better.

This week, Classics 4 Kids. They noticed that music education was being cut from school budgets, so they started an organization to make sure every kid in San Diego can experience music.

We talked with the founder of Classics 4 Kids Marion Scire:
