Fire causes $1.2 million dollars in damage in Mira Mesa - San Diego, California Talk Radio Station - 760 KFMB AM - 760kfmb

MIRA MESA (CBS 8) - An investigation is underway into a fire at a Mira Mesa business that caused more than one million dollars in damage.

Firefighters were called to "Beam One" on Activity Road off Camino Ruiz around 6:30 a.m. Sunday.

The fire was initially knocked down around 7 a.m., but flames were then discovered inside a vault on the property that took another 30 minutes to put out.

Hazmat crews were called in because the medical product sterilization company uses radioactive materials.

No one was hurt.
