In 2006, Schwarzenegger signed a law that gave permission to CARB to design a cap and trade system in California. It took them 5 years, and CARB never disappoints. At 6:00, we outlined how the fraud that is cap and trade works:

As if that wasn't enough, the board PROVED that they know cap and trade is a job killer.

Every business is placed in a category; either low, medium or high leakage. Leakage is the bureaucratic term for job loss. High, medium or low relates to the likelihood that the jobs will be destroyed. Business in the high leakage category are given less strict standards in order to give them a greater chance to comply. The bureaucrats KNOW this will destroy jobs.

Here's a point we're going to touch more on tomorrow: cap and trade does nothing except create new opportunities for business-politician corruption. Occupy: San Diego is sleeping in the street because there is too cozy of a relationship between corporations and government. THIS is a perfect example of why that relationship exists!

Industries that are classified as a "medium leakage business" are going to give money to politicians that will move them from medium leakage to high leakage - from stricter regulations to fewer regulations.

This is another example the government creating a system that give them power to control us at their whim.
