The Occupy protesters have created their own mini-socialist/Marxist, tent-city utopia. And after 4 short weeks, they've already encountered some basic truths of their failed economic and social system:
1) Centralized redistribution of wealth results in shortages, rationing and discontent among the masses.
"The other day, I took in $2,000. I kept $650 for my group, and gave the rest to Finance. Then I went to them with a request — so many people need things, and they should not be going without basic comfort items — and I was told to fill out paperwork. Paperwork! Are they the government now?"
2) Giving away free stuff (entitlements) attracts moochers.
"Everyone knows we give out free food and sleeping bags, and it's a perfect opportunity for squatters."
3) People like to be compensated for their labor.
"We need to limit the amount of food we're putting out" to curb the influx of derelicts, said Rafael Moreno, a kitchen volunteer. A security volunteer added that the cooks felt "overworked and underappreciated."
We gave even more examples to kick off the 6:00 hour:

Overlooking the fact that the protesters don't seem to want to spread their wealth of food and resources to legitimately homeless people (what's yours is mine and what's mine is mine), protesters are experiencing the breakdown of a Marxist society among a population of 2,000 protesters. And they want to inflict this on a nation of 300 million people?
Live in filth, hunger, and misery all you want, but don't bring the rest of us down with you!
Also, we're seeing greed among the protesters who are protesting against greed, so where can we find the philosopher king angels among us who are not greedy?! Certainly not in our ivory towers. Don't miss today's 8:00 segment:
