Power to the people!

Last Wednesday the Occupy: San Diego protesters celebrated "Withdrawal Wedne$day". Protesters met at the Civic Center Plaza and ceremoniously marched to their nearest evil, greedy, disgusting big bank, withdrew their money and transferred it to a local credit union.

Good on 'em.

I'm not sure if the protesters realized that this type of FREEDOM is only possible in a capitalist system. People only have the power in a truly capitalist free market. Protesters have the freedom and power to give (or not give) their money to whom they want for any reason they want.

If only we all had that same luxury to withdraw our money from the Federal Government education monopoly and transfer our money to local education alternatives. Unfortunately, we don't have the freedom to choose how to spend our money when it comes to education.

Protesters would be upset if someone forced them to bank with a company they didn't want to bank with, right? That's exactly what the government did to all of us. They forced you to give money to people you didn't want to do business with. This is not capitalism. This is CRONY CAPITALISM. I don't do business with Wells Fargo, but somehow they have my money. How did they get it? Occupy: San Diego should be protesting the people who stole our money in the first place!

We talked more about this at 8:00:
