SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - Students at Toussaint Academy in downtown San Diego got an early Christmas surprise thanks to 760 KFMB's The Mike Slater Show.
A few weeks ago, Mike Slater told his listeners about the homeless students that attend Toussaint Academy and how they have turned their lives around.
To give the students a very special Christmas, Slater asked his listeners to open their hearts.
"We asked our
listeners to donate some gifts and they came out just so incredibly. They did
such a great job and we're so excited to have these kids get a little bit of
Christmas they wouldn't have normally got," Slater continued.
