The suspect entered the Subway restaurant at 3308 University Ave. about 10:45 p.m. Friday, according to San Diego police Officer David Stafford.

The robber fled on foot with an undisclosed amount, Stafford said. No one was injured.

The suspect was described as a Hispanic man, about 5 feet-7 and between 160 and 180 pounds. He was wearing dark jeans, a dark colored hooded sweatshirt and had his face covered.
