Man robbed at gunpoint while watching TV

SAN DIEGO (CNS) - A man watching television in the garage of his Rancho Penasquitos home was robbed at gunpoint Tuesday.

A male suspect rolled up the garage door at a home in the 10400 block of Caminito Rimini around 1:30 p.m., pointed a gun at the victim and took a backpack containing cash and personal items before running away in an unknown direction, according to San Diego Police Department Officer Jane Jacobsen.

The suspect is described as in his early 20s, 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 8 inches tall, with a medium build and a buzz cut. He was wearing a hoodie and shorts, police said.
