
SAN DIEGO (CNS) - A man was stabbed to death during an apparent argument near the Mt. Hope Cemetery in San Diego Saturday.
Officers were dispatched to T Street near South 37th Street about 4:40 a.m. on a report of a person down. Paramedics found the man and took him to a local trauma center where he died at 5:30 a.m., Lt. Kevin Rooney of the San Diego Police Department Homicide Unit said.
The victim has been positively identified, but his name was being withheld pending family notification.
Neighbors told homicide detectives that they heard people arguing before they noticed the man down on the sidewalk. They also saw two men running east on T Street shortly after the incident, Rooney said.
