Extradition hearing for fugitive wanted in home invasion

SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - An extradition hearing is scheduled Tuesday for a fugitive wanted in a violent home invasion robbery at the home of a former city councilman.

Harvey Duson is being held in a Las Vegas jail after leading authorities on a high speed chase in Arizona.

Duson was on the run after escaping police in San Diego, who thought he was hiding out his car on Interstate 8.

Duson had been out on parole, after serving time for an armed robbery in Lemon Grove.
