Inspirational Patrick Ivison and his mom Jennifer join the show

When toddler Patrick Ivison and his mom, Jennifer were walking in a grocery store parking lot, they never thought that it would be the last time Patrick would walk. But a man fighting with his girlfriend, wasn't paying attention and backed out without looking and pinned Patrick underneath the car. He was saved by a good Samaritan in the parking lot, but they found he had suffered a spinal injury and was paralyzed from the neck down.

Over the years, Patrick has fought hard and progressed into being able to move his whole body! He has beaten the odds, and decided to beat the odds again and walk at his graduation.

He succeeded, and continues all of us to beat the odds we fight daily.
