SAN DIEGO (CNS) - A man fatally shot while talking on a pay phone in Southcrest was identified Sunday.

Adolfo Maytorena, 28, died shortly after Friday's roughly 9:20 p.m. attack on National Avenue near 38th Street, according to San Diego police and the Medical Examiner's Office.

Witnesses told police two suspects, described only as Hispanic men in dark-colored pants and white or gray shirts, ran west on National. They remained at large early Sunday.
