SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - A light plane has been removed from the right shoulder of southbound Interstate 15 in Escondido following an emergency landing over the weekend.
The plane was moved around 3:00 a.m. Tuesday.
The plane had been stuck on the side of the freeway just north of El Norte Parkway since Sunday night, when the pilot was forced to make an emergency landing after he ran out of fuel.
