
SAN DIEGO (CNS) - An argument between two women at a homeless encampment in San Diego's East Village area ended with one stabbing the other in the head with a pair of scissors, police said Saturday.
The victim was taken to a hospital and was expected to survive the attack, which happened around 11:15 a.m. Friday in the area of 17th and F streets, said Sgt. Ray Battrick. She was identified as being between 40-50 years old.
Police were looking for the suspect, a white woman in her 40s who is 5 feet-3 inches tall and 130 pounds. She was wearing a white shirt and black pants, Battrick said.
