San Diego (CBS 8) - Fifteen people have been taken into custody after the discovery of a suspected smuggling boat.

Border Patrol agents spotted the boat off Sunset Cliffs near Ladera St.

Undercover Border Patrol agents took all 15 people into custody and were headed to the Border Patrol station, where they are expected to be processed.

This happened around 2:30 a.m., when a panga boat washed ashore with 15 people, five women and 10 men. Agents were already waiting for the boat to wash up ashore. The people were very cooperative as they were taken into custody, according to officials.
