Police search for gunmen in 7-Eleven store robberies

SAN DIEGO (CNS) - Two 7-Eleven convenience stores were robbed at gunpoint Monday, one in Linda Vista and the other in San Diego's Midway District, police said.

The first armed robbery at 6615 Linda Vista Rd. was reported at 3:39 a.m., while the second was at 3185 Midway Dr. around 4 a.m., according to San Diego police Officer Dino Delimitros.

The robber in the Linda Vista heist stands about 6 feet and has a thin build, Delimitros said in a statement. He wore a black hoodie and white bandana over his head. His ethnicity was not certain.

The robber in the Midway District robbery was Hispanic, around 5 feet 8 and 180 pounds, Delimitros said. He also wore a black hoodie, according to the officer.
