Mayoral candidates face off in two debates - San Diego, California Talk Radio Station - 760 KFMB AM - 760kfmb

SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - San Diego's mayoral candidates faced off Tuesday.

A debate was held at noon between Councilman Carl DeMaio and Representative Bob Filner at La Valencia Hotel in La Jolla.

The candidates answered questions submitted by members of the La Jolla Rotary Club, which sponsored the debate.

DeMaio and Filner were asked about Prop B and what other steps they will take to resolve the city's financial problems.

A second debate hosted by Associated General Contractors was scheduled for 7:15 p.m. Tuesday at RDO Equipment in Lakeside.
