Morton's offers free sandwiches to local firefighters - San Diego, California Talk Radio Station - 760 KFMB AM - 760kfmb

SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - In honor of our local heroes on September 11, Mortons the Steakhouse is offering free filet mignon sandwiches to area firefighters.

"It's a special day, not just for firefighters, it's a special day to remember the citizens, anyone who's affected by 9/11 in our country and we're just happy to be part of it and we're appreciative of morton's for taking care of us today," Larry Rawlings of San Diego Fire-Rescue said.

The free sandwiches are being handed out to firefighters until 8 p.m. Tuesday. There is a limit of two sandwiches per person and a maximum of 25 sandwiches per fire station.
