Two brush fires contained off I-15 - San Diego, California Talk Radio Station - 760 KFMB AM - 760kfmb

ESCONDIDO (CBS 8) - Firefighters put out a pair of brush fires off Interstate 15 near Escondido Wednesday.

They broke out around 2:30 p.m. within a mile of the Old Highway 295 interchange east of Bonsall. Crews had the fire under control within about 30 minutes.

Cal Fire says the blazes burned about a quarter of an acre and may have been started by a bad car muffler.
