SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - The San Diego North Chamber of Commerce honors San Diego's finest with its annual safety awards.

Two individuals from every branch of law enforcement and public safety were honored for their outstanding service to the community.

District Attorney Bonnie Dumanis was on hand to present the awards and recognize their dedication to keeping San Diego County safe.

The award recipients were nominated by their peers.
