
SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - A middle schooler is recovering from minor injuries after getting hit by a truck while walking to school in Hillcrest.
It happened around 7 a.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Park and Upas. The boy was in the crosswalk on his way to Roosevelt Middle School when he was hit. He was taken to the hospital as a precaution.
The driver was cited for driving with a suspended license.
