SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - A man is rescued by two fishermen after falling into the bay early Tuesday.

It happened just after midnight, when two men were fishing off a pier in San Diego Bay. A man walked right by them and fell into the water and starting calling for help.

The fishermen quickly grabbed a rope and rescued the man until Harbor police arrived.

The two brothers, who were fishing together, said they never thought they would be "reeling" in a man from the water.

The man was taken to the hospital, no word on his condition.
