SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - As we near the November Election date, many may already know who they are going to vote for.
But it turns out, many don't make it to the polls on Election Day.
Saturday, a local organization got together in City Heights in hopes of getting their neighbors excited about voting.
As many as 90 million Americans, who are eligible to vote in this year's election, are expected "not" to vote.
One non-partisan group is working to change that by getting their message out -- that you -- and your vote -- matter.
The goal by Election Day is to get at least 7,500 infrequent voters to commit to show up, either at the polls or by mailing in their absentee ballot.
