SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - A dense fog advisory Tuesday, issued by the National Weather Service, is causing some concern for the morning commute.
Areas of dense fog along the coast may cause delays for motorists on the Pacific Coast Highway and Southbound Interstate-5.
Airport traffic may also be affected, due to patchy thick fog and low visibility. Those traveling out of Lindberg Field Tuesday morning were advised to check for flight delays.
The dense fog advisory for coastal areas of San Diego County remains in effect until 9 a.m.
