SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - A group of San Diego gamers will be playing video games for at least 60 hours this weekend, all for a good cause.
This is the second annual Indie Games for Good Marathon. All of the money raised goes to Child's Play Charity, a group that provides toys, games and books for kids who are in the hospital.
Viewers can donate money and control what the team plays.
"So viewers, they can come on, they can watch the stream, they can talk to us in the chat and they can donate money, and with the money that they donate they can actually choose a game for us to play," gamer Shamayel Daoud said.
Last year the group played for 79 hours and raised almost $7,000.
