SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - Three people are safe Friday thanks to firefighters, after a Paradise Hills home went up in flames.
It happened Thursday night in the 5700 block of Cumberland St. Firefighters found the home completely engulfed.
Flames were threatening to spread to a neighboring house. Crews knocked down the blaze after evacuating a couple and an elderly woman in a wheelchair.
Officials say they'll need to find a place to stay. All three residents were treated for minor smoke inhalation but are okay.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
