DEL MAR (CBS 8) - The performers in the now-cancelled "Valitar" have a new place to stay, and it's a far cry from the stables.
"We have been blessed with the hospitality industry coming forward. The Del Mar Hilton, the Del Mar Inn, and Grand Pacific Resorts have offered places for the performers and cast to stay," "Liberte" volunteer Linda Holst said.
"Valitar" performers were stunned when the organizers suddenly pulled up stakes, and they've been equally surprised by the generosity of San Diego horse lovers.
Next weekend they are putting on a new show of their own called "Liberte" and using the money to get themselves and their horses home.
