SAN DIEGO (CNS) - A preliminary hearing is scheduled Monday for a pair of brothers accused of killing a man and wounding another in a shooting in Lincoln Park last January.
Antuon Grey, 24, and Deandre Eugene Grey, 23, are each charged with murder, attempted murder and assault with a firearm in connection with the Jan. 21 shooting that killed 32-year-old Edwin Jackson and wounded a 42-year-old man.
San Diego police said the victims were standing in the parking lot of an apartment complex on Solola Avenue about 4:30 p.m. when two men walked up and opened fire. The motive remains unclear.
The Grey brothers were charged in the shooting in April while in custody for unrelated crimes.
A judge will decide at the end of the preliminary hearing whether there's enough evidence to order the siblings to stand trial.
