SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - The stork has been busy on this 12-12-12 day, delivering healthy newborn babies all across San Diego County.
It was especially busy Wednesday at Sharp Mary Birch Hospital for Women and Newborns. As of 2 p.m. Wednesday, 22 babies were born there.
Amanda Savala has even more reason to celebrate the birth of her daughter, Kimberly Maria. She was born at 12:12 p.m., but it almost didn't work out that way.
"I was supposed to get induced last night. And they turned me away because the hospital was full. So I cam this morning with a whole bunch of contractions and it just happened," she said.
Wednesday is Kimberly Maria's father's birthday too. Now that's an unforgettable day.
