SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - A driver who pointed a gun at another motorist during a road rage incident in the Midway District has been arrested.

It happened just before 12:30 p.m. near Rosecrans. The victim says he was sitting at a red light when a truck pulled up and the driver pointed a gun at him.

"He pointed the gun at me and just said 'What's up cuz?' and that was it. I didn't say anything back to him and just kind of looked at him and just decided to follow him," the victim said.

The victim called police and while he was on the phone, the suspect ran a stop sign and was hit by another vehicle. The suspect's truck flipped over and all four people inside tried to run away.

The driver and one passenger were caught. Police say the weapon, which turned out to be a pellet gun, was recovered.
