SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - Students at San Diego State headed back to school Thursday to start the spring semester.

About 31,000 students started classes Thursday.

School officials warned the influx of students could cause traffic problems around the campus. They're urging students to take public transportation or use alternate routes to get to school.
