PACIFIC BEACH (CBS 8) - Police had their hands full Tuesday morning after a sea lion pup showed up in a Pacific Beach parking lot.
Reports came in around 3 a.m. that a small sea lion was wandering on Ocean Blvd. near Grand Avenue.
When officers got there, they found the pup under an SUV.
Armed with a catch-loop and some gentle coaxing, they managed to wrangle the little pup back onto the beach and into the water.
Police say the pup wasn't hurt during his on-land adventure.
