Woman hit & killed crossing street in Lincoln Park - San Diego, California Talk Radio Station - 760 KFMB AM - 760kfmb

LINCOLN PARK (CNS) - A 46-year-old woman was struck and killed while crossing a street in Lincoln Park, police said.

The fatal collision occurred around 6:15 p.m. Friday in the 1200 block of South 47th Street, said Officer David Stafford of the San Diego Police Department.

A 40-year-old man was driving a 2002 GMC van northbound on 47th Street when the victim stepped into the street from between two parked cars, Stafford said.

The woman died at the scene.

Alcohol was not a factor in the crash, and an investigation was continuing, Stafford said.
