CHULA VISTA (CNS) - Authorities Monday asked for the public's help to find a missing Chula Vista man with various medical issues.
Robert Chesney Jr., 41, disappeared after being dropped off at UCSD Medical Center in San Diego for a doctor's appointment about 1 p.m. Saturday, according to police. He is believed to have left the hospital on foot for unknown reasons, Chula Vista Police Department Capt. Gary Wedge said.
Chesney has diminished mental capacity and a seizure disorder, and has not taken his medication since he went missing, according to Wedge.
Chesney is described as a 5-foot-8-inch, roughly 160-pound white man with brown hair and blue eyes. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing blue jeans, a black sweatshirt with a San Diego State University insignia on it and a black hat decorated with a Jack Daniel's logo.
Anyone with information about Chesney's whereabouts is asked to call Chula Vista police at (619) 691-5151.
