SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - A unique class at the Encinitas Library is all about teaching toddlers and preschoolers flexibility and fun.
Two times a month, an instructor from a local yoga studio leads the kids in a 30-minute yoga session that includes nursery rhymes, books and music.
The little ones do yoga poses, but they also get to act like their favorite animals, slithering like snakes or stomping around like elephants.
"We want to give kids tools as soon as possible to self-soothe and have a healthy lifestyle and so yoga provides that," says yoga instructor Kat Gregory.
The classes are held at the Encinitas Library on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of every month.
