SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - A police standoff situation in Golden Hill is over but the suspect is not in custody.

Police tried to coax the man out of an apartment. It happened in the 3300 block of C Street.

Police received a domestic violence call and surrounded the building. A woman came out saying the man inside might have a gun.

The man stayed holed up for hours until police finally cleared the scene.

No arrests were made but a warrant is still pending.
