Tuesday declared James Madison Warhawk Football Championship Day - San Diego, California Talk Radio Station - 760 KFMB AM - 760kfmb

SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - It was a day of celebration for the Warhawk football team of James Madison High School.

"We have declared in this team's honor to be the James Madison Warhawk Football Championship Day in San Diego and we're really pleased to have you here," Supervisor Ron Roberts said.

Roberts' proclamation comes following the Warhawks' Division 3 State CIF Championship title.

In December, the Warhawks beat Marin Catholic 38-35 to bring home the trophy.
