
SAN DIEGO (CNS) - A 25-year-old woman was stabbed early Wednesday by a man she confronted about loitering by her vehicle in Serra Mesa, a police officer said.
The woman confronted her alleged attacker in the 8800 block of Hammond Drive near Sandrock Road shortly before 3 a.m., San Diego police Officer Dino Delimitros said. She sustained a stab wound to her stomach, which was not believed to be life-threatening, the officer said.
Police described the suspect only as male and wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt.
