SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - Longtime San Diego homeless advocate Father Joe Carroll will receive a big honor.
He's been selected as one of four honorees to receive a Citizen Service Before Self Award.
Father Joe is best known for creating Father Joe's villages, which provide meals and services to thousands of homeless people across Southern California. Father Joe was selected by recipients of the Medal of Honor.
He'll be recognized at a ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery on March 25.
