SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - North County commuters who rely on the Sprinter to get around had to adjust Monday.
Transit officials halted light rail service this weekend after crews found faulty brakes.
Two temporary bus lines will run until repairs are complete, which could take two to four months while repair crews wait for parts.
Passengers we spoke with say they've found it fairly easy to use the bus system.
"I said, 'Well, I guess I'll just have to adjust.' I called up the transit and they told me what the schedule would be and here I am," regular Sprinter rider Bill Stewart said.
