CHULA VISTA (CBS 8) - Hundreds of motorcyclists gathered in Chula Vista for a memorial ride and fundraiser in honor of a woman who died in a motorcycle accident earlier this month.
Neysa Ornelas, 31, died on March 3rd when she was hit by a pickup truck on highway 94.
Several riders, both men and women, donned tutus, something Neysa did often while riding.
Her sister shared what riding meant to Neysa.
"Ya know, she would tell me, I'm free. All the stress of being a single mother, when I rev up that bike and I can feel it turning the corner, feel that pavement, the wind, all my stress comes off," said Marcie Ornelas.
Neysa leave behind a 7-year-old son.
