CARLSBAD (CBS 8) - From ranunculus to roses, The Flower Fields at Carlsbad Ranch are bright and blooming.

Wednesday is the first day of spring, and visitors new and old will be thrilled with what's in store. For the first time in over 15 years, the flower fields have a new color pattern.

Each year, more than 120,000 visitors soak in the beauty of the 50-acre fields.

The flower fields are open every day from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. through May 12.
