Woman rescued from car along I-5 - San Diego, California Talk Radio Station - 760 KFMB AM - 760kfmb

SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - Rescuers pulled a woman from a mangled wreckage Friday, after her car slams into the side of the freeway.

It happened around 2:30 a.m. along Interstate 5, when the driver lost control and careened into the right shoulder.

Several other drivers pulled over and tried to get her out. But it took fire crews with the jaws of life to completely cut off the roof to rescue the driver.

Fire officials say this is something they are always ready for. She was transported to the hospital but had no major injuries.
