Clairemont Mesa market robbed at gunpoint - San Diego, California Talk Radio Station - 760 KFMB AM - 760kfmb

SAN DIEGO (CNS) - A gunman robbed a market in the Clairemont Mesa area of San Diego Friday morning.

The robber wore a scarf over his face when he entered the C & R Food Mart at 5405 Clairemont Mesa Blvd. just after midnight, said San Diego police Officer David Stafford.

The suspect pulled out a handgun, demanded cash from an employee and fled on foot with an undisclosed sum, he said.

The man is described as black and in his 30s. He was wearing a white shirt and gray pants, Stafford said.
