BOSTON, April 12, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- At a meeting held today, shareholders of Eaton Vance Floating-Rate Income Trust (NYSE: EFT) (the "Fund"), a closed-end investment company, voted to elect Helen Frame Peters and Lynn A. Stout as Class III Trustees of the Fund, and Ralph F. Verni as Class III Variable Rate Term Preferred Shares Trustee of the Fund, each for a three-year term. The Fund's current Class I and Class II Trustees, who serve staggered terms, were not up for election and remain in office.
