SAN DIEGO (CNS) - A three-year-old girl was struck by a car, as she wandered into a Logan Heights roadway. She was rushed to a hospital with life-threatening injuries, a police officer said Sunday.
The girl darted into the eastbound lanes of National Avenue near 33rd Street about 9:10 p.m. Saturday and was hit by a Nissan vehicle driven by a 48-year-old man, San Diego police Officer David Stafford said.
She sustained serious injuries and her parents drove her to a hospital, Stafford said.
The crash was under investigation, Stafford said.
